Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's World
Pumpkin Project
Students were divided into groups and each group was given a pumpkin. Their task was to estimate the weight, height, circumference, number of lines, number of seeds, and the length of the stem. They then measured and counted to find the exact measurement. They shared their information with other groups. Each group recorded the data in a spreadsheet, made graphs, and used the information to find the mean, median, mode, and range of all the pumpkins
