Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's World

Enterprise Text Features

Students in Marlene Lyall’s 4th grade classroom at Enterprise Elementary in Wichita, KS needed to a review of text features to help them have a better understanding of those types. To do that students’ used websites provided by Ms. Lyall to identify different examples of text. Students recorded their findings on the text feature search and find document. After conferencing with the teacher on the features found, students demonstrated their knowledge by creating a PowerPoint. They then presented that PowerPoint to the class, as well as the principal.
