Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's World
New to TRC...extremely technology illiterate...
Hello, I am new to the TRC group. I have never used Skype, Twitter, blogs (this is actually my first), etc. I am a bit nervous/anxious about this, so I hope anyone who is able to "walk me though" these first few weeks & months will do so. Your help in making this grant work for not only our school but our students will be IMMENSELY helpful. Introducing technology like this into a school of less than 50 students with little technology is going to be both frustrating and exciting. I look forward to the challenge, and I hope the TRC experience is a learning time for all involved.

Absolutely, Edward! The whole TRC process is about change...and we'll be with you each step of the way! Don't rush into everything all at once...baby steps to small successes! It's a fun journey. You'll learn lots and meet some great people along the way! We're happy to have you with our team!

Hi Ed--we are so excited to have you--we like to think of TRC as an adventure! Our whole approach is to learn and share with each other! Some may skype --others may twitter or plurk--it is all about what is useful and relevant for you/your classroom/your students! With the help of your facilitator and the TRC Team--we are going to have a great year!
