How do you set up gmail for your students within your district domain in Google? What type of control do you have?

Thank you Judy! Winfield has just made this switch and I think Stacy Smith could be a great resource! We'll see what we can pull together for you! ;-)

I am in a district that is in dire need of some technology. I am all for writing some grants, any suggestions on where I can find some technology grants? We are writing one for TRC, but I am looking for some more related to a Kindergarten-2nd grade level building. Thanks!

Hi Erika! We try to post funding opportunities under the Collaboration Center section of this blog under Funding Opportunities. Any time we hear of something we put it there! I think a blog post specifically on funding opportunities is a GREAT idea!! Thank you!

I am in a district that is in the process of installing a significant number of interactive whiteboards and smart boards due to stimulus funds. We are wanting to make sure we provide appropriate and worthwhile staff development to teachers who will be receiving these whiteboards. Any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Winfield is currently using Google Apps. Our district email is Google for both staff and students, however Google will only allow accounts for students over the age of 13. We do not have accounts for our elementary students :-(

Below is a link to more information about using Google Apps in your district.
