Daily Schedule: I try to be in classrooms at least 30-45 minutes on a daily basis during the following time slots. It does vary as teachers will sometimes ask for me to come during a different time for a special project and the other half of my job will frequently demand a change in schedule.
6th Grade -- 8:20 - 9:15 a.m.
5th Grade -- 9:15 - 9:50 a.m.
4th Grade -- 12:00 - 12:50 p.m
3rd Grade -- 2:30 - 3:15 p.m.
In addition, planning with teachers on Mondays during one of their regular plan times.
Those of you in Phase 7 may remember Kari's cross-curricular project based on the story, Two Bad Ants. Kari added a couple new activities this year. She used her flip video to tape her students describing something in her classroom from an ant's perspective. You will see some very clever 3rd grade "ants." She also used a voice thread and let the students chronicle the progress of their ant farm.
