Flipping Classrooms, a TED service!

This is a really cool option for creating flipped classroom lessons.  Take any YouTube video and add annotations and a quiz to track student comprehension.  As the video tour below suggests, this does not replace good teaching, but we know many of you use videos in your teaching and this is a great way to quickly flip a lesson if you are so inclined!!  http://ed.ted.com/tourSee More

I can't quite figure out what just went wrong. I answered all three of Jana's questions and thought I sent it correctly, but it ain't there!! So, luckily I'm so old school, I had to write my notes first, so I am ready to begin again. Hope you can read my response soon.

Open Education Resource Content

My director, Marilyn Ault, passed this list of Open Education Resource content or OER around our office.  These are free lesson plans, videos, interactive activities, etc that help K-12 educators teach specific concepts.  With the Common Core standards being implemented, sites like these will only become more prevailant as more and more people are teaching very similar content.
