Preparing Today's Students for Tomorrow's World

Have been working with Scratch the past few years with middle schoolers.  The newest version of Scratch has blocks that allows students to build interactive learning toys with the Lego WeDo (think very basic robotics).

Links to both:
We have explored and made some pretty interesting interactive whiteboard uses with Scratch as well.  I am in the VERY beginning phase of organizing (with a colleague) a "Scratch Education Day" this winter in the Kansas City area - Ill keep this group updated.

With todays sessions on games I though it was relevant to re-post the Scratch link -  Scratch: http://scratch.mit.edu

Our MS students have been building games using the toolkit & Scratch version 2.0 (due out this year some time) will have web API's as well as provide multi-user real time collaboration on projects
