Intel Offerings in July!
TRC Teachers & Facilitators,
I want to let you know about two exciting (and optional) Intel training opportunities that are quickly approaching!
1. Intel Teach Elements: Project Based Approaches is a brand new workshop being offered from Intel Teach. This two day course focuses on teachers improving their understanding and application of project-based learning in the classroom. Diane Smokorowski is conducting this workshop which will be held Face to Face in Andover, KS July 13-14 from 8a-3pm daily. It is a free workshop, and one college credit hour will be available from Baker for $70. To register, simply email techworkshop@usd385.org
2. Intel Essentials Course is an Intel Master Teacher class that will be held July 20, 21, 22, & 23 in Kansas City, MO from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm each day. Lunch is on your own and there is no charge for the class but if you plan to participate you will need to make arrangements to amend your budget to include these travel expenses (which is fairly simple). If you are interested in participating email Tina Littlejohn at tlittlej@KCMSD.NET to sign up!
