Ice-cream Cone Composite Figures

Students in Eden Barr's 7th grade math class explore composite figures. Students were asked to use triangles and semicircles to create the cones. They were asked to measure the area of the total shape. An extension to the project allowed students to add toppings using smaller shapes and measure the area of these as well.
