We have two campuses, one uses Windows systems and the other uses Macintosh. The students will learn whichever platform you give them. Your choice can therefore be made on the following criteria (this is not all inclusive) programs (not everything is available on both platforms, and some programs that do work on both will not have the same features work on both platforms), price (although this is getting to be very close to the same), warranty, and Technical support available (If you have an IT staff which are they more experienced in supporting, How much time do they have to devote to supporting student machines (this question particularly deals with the scenario of a teacher having double duties)). Also consider what your network can handle and the amount of bandwidth you have available inside your network and to the internet.
