edWeb.net and CoSN, the Consortium for School Networking, announce Mobile Learning Explorations, a webinar series and online professional learning community that provides a forum for the education community to collaborate on the implementation of mobile technology in education. This innovative program is sponsored by AT&T.    
 
The first webinar in the series, Leadership for Mobile Learning, will be presented by Lucy Gray, Project Director for CoSN's Leadership for Mobile Learning initiative. Lucy will kick off the webinar series with an overview of how to develop, plan, implement and manage policies to effectively use mobile devices for the improvement of teaching and learning. She will also discuss CoSN's newest set of case studies on districts pioneering mobile learning.
 
Lucy Gray is an Apple Distinguished Educator and Google Certified teacher, and previously served as a teacher for the Chicago Public Schools and for the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. She currently works as an independent consultant, advising a variety of non-profit institutions and businesses on 21st century learning initiatives.
