I'm imagining a AlwaysOpenSchool project, where we all collaborate to build a virtual school that supplies an ever-changing faculty of archived instructors. Where we all go out and find the best "free" instruction on podcasts, youtube, teachertube and from universities open source and deliver it all to one virtual campus that is easy, compelling and fun to use. We let learners evaluate the quality of instruction and vote to remove resources that don't make the grade. In the end and future, we have a campus of resources, ever-improving that could enhance public school resources as well as add to home school resources and extend from preschool to higher ed. We could eventually fund it with Google Ads or something similar when it gets enough traffic. Picture a remote school or a remote learner who needs ready access to learning getting just in time learning that is evaluated by all users. I've been wanting to help challenged schools curricularize these sources of instruction for a while now. Who would like to help build this resource? Who would use it once it's up and going?
