Put your good humor to good use. This could be a great end-of-the-year project for some of our artistic and clever TRC students (or teachers!).
The ISTE Daily Leader is seeking cartoons or comic strips for potential inclusion in the newspaper of record for ISTE’s annual conference and exposition, ISTE 2011 in Philadelphia, June 26-29. Create a comic displaying something funny about technology in education or the ISTE conference. Comics can be a single panel or up to 3 panels as long as the overall size fits in an eighth page that is 4.75 inches wide by 3.4 inches high.
Comic creators can be kids or adults, but, of course, the content should be appropriate for an audience of all ages.
Be sure to include the comic creator’s name, age, location (institution, city, state/province, and country) and mention any technology he or she might have used to create the comic. Entries should be submitted as a high-resolution PDF or jpg at 300 dpi.
Submit your entries by email to Editor Kate Conley, kconley@iste.org by June 3, 2011, to be considered for publication. Submissions must be original and not previously published. Submission constitutes permission to publish in the Daily Leader.
Thanks in advance for the laughs, The Daily Leader Team
